Re: QOTD 9/16

  • I would love to go to Hawaii...I've never been there.

I'd also like to go back to San Francisco...I was there for a short business trip last year. I tried to see as much as I could, but I only had about 8 hours of free time. I'd love to go back and also go wine tasting in Sonoma.

@nic12184: Do it. I went to Hawaii in May/June and it was unreal.

  • We went to Hawaii on our honeymoon. Beautiful.

So, outside of there, definitely Alaska. Which is crazy cause I hate the cold! I feel like it's too beautiful not to see it in person no matter how much I hate the cold.

    Anniversary

  • I'm jumping on the Hawaii bandwagon here.  Luckily SIL and her BF are moving there soon.  Hopefully we'll be able to afford a trip out there after she moves.
  • There are a bunch of places that I want to go to.  At the top of my list are Alaska, the Grand Canyon, Napa Valley and Vegas.

I have been to Hawaii and it was amazing.  I would take DH there in a heartbeat.

Hawaii is #1 on my list.  I'd love to see Napa, San Francisco, San Diego, Seattle, St Louis, Louisville, San Antonio, Charleston, Philadelphia and Chicago.

There are more but those are the first ones that quickly come to mind.

ETA:  I forgot I want to visit New Orleans until I looked at ystaalenburg's pictures.
  • Oh goodness, everywhere!!!

New York City, Alaska, Hawaii (I've been, but I was 9), Washington, DC, Oregon.....so many places!! Vegas, New Orleans....I could travel forever. There's plenty of places I'd like to visit as well.

  • Probably Alaska is the top one. I've heard it's beautiful and I want to see penguins and glaciers (ironically when we went to glacier nat park in may, we didn't see any glaciers because so many are gone and the roads were still closed off due to snow for those remaining).
I've been to two Hawaii islands now and they are awesome!

    Runners up:
New Orleans (planned to my senior yr then Katrina hit)
    Boston
    Seattle (next yr)
    Northern CA-redwoods
    More of Texas
    New England and Maine area

Don't mean to burst your bubble, but if you want to see penguins and glaciers you'll have to go to Antarctica. No penguins in Alaska. But you can see glaciers and polar bears and whales!
