Ok, first and foremost I need to get this out there.....

This was The Darkling all through the series

And because this is what I pictured, I am totally swooning over The Darkling. I do love me a bad boy.

So now onto the actual stories:

1. I pretty much love all the characters.

2. I love the prince (can't help but think of Prince Harry though)

3. I keep waiting for Mal to discover he has powers

4. The Priest guy is super creep-tastic

5. "Don't hate me because I am beautiful". Ha

6. The Fold is so creepy and horrific (I kept thinking of the creatures in "Pitch Black")

7. WTF is up with the Darkling channelling all those shadow creatures ... Dude!!!!

8. I was totally fooled by the Darkling in the begining and I thought he was a good guy (I am sure it was just my wishful thinking).

9. Is Alina really a saint????? Curious minds want to know

10. I love the twins

11. I don't trust Zoya

I am sure i will think of more.

OMG YESSSSS

Oooooh, I never thought of Mal having powers - I was wondering if HE is the freaking Firebird. Because of when he grabbed Alina's wrist? That part? You know what I'm talking about? WHY DID THAT HAPPEN?

I am seriously freaking out wondering if Mal has to die. Because that cannot happen.

Um, I LOVE Nikolai. LOVE LOVE LOVE so much that I was rooting for him for most of the book. As much as I love Mal, I was getting annoyed with him and Nikolai is so DAMNED CHARMING.

The twins are amazing. I don't trust Zoya either.

OMG YES - the creatures from Pitch Black are exactly what I was picturing too. The fold sounds just like that planet, actually. lolol

I would last a total of 5 seconds with someone as charming as Nikolai before I would be hopping into bed with him. What can I say....I am a slut. I like them bad and charming. (God, I would have already banged The Darkling and the Prince).

I does seem like Alina and Mal are rememberiing more and more about their lives and I am hoping this is leading to finding out more about their parents and their lives before becoming orphans.

I'm seriously terrified for the next book. I know she's going to kill off people and I'm scared to find out who. I have a sinking feeling that Nikolai is going to die because I think Alina has to end up with Mal and then what will be left for Nikolai? Does he even really love her or is it just charm?

And I know Alina will get back her powers - or maybe Mal will discover his powers?

When I found out that the Darkling was REALLY appearing to Alina all those times, it gave me chills. He was stalking her... and it was so hot. I want to be stalked by the Darkling. And Nikolai. And Mal.

Mal fighting in those dirty rings also made him way hotter than he was before. He was adorable, but after the fights? Hubba hubba.

I feel like there is soooooo much to wrap up in the next book, I feel like it has to be at least 500 pages. LOL.

I don't want Nikolai to die!!! But I do agree with you that if the author wants to follow the formula where girl and boy end up together, she will have to kill off Nikolai. (and I kind of don't want the author to go this route because it is sooooo overdone).

I see Mal discovering he has some sort of power and when he does, he will have to use it or somehow Alina's powers will have to use him in order for her to get her powers back.

I keep trying to get the Darkling (or really Michael Fassbender) to appear to me and haven't had any luck with that yet. But I will continue to try.

Mal fighting was hot. I usually rebel against the obvious love interest in a story (i prefered Amon over Han and still haven't gotten over mourning that one) but I am okay with this one.

I want to be all over a handsome prince.

I like the idea of Mal being the Firebird. However, I'm going to think that they will have to work together rather than Alina killing him due to that spark. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I think a lot of the next book is going to be Alina trying to figure out how to get her powers back. Maybe Mal will have something to do with it? I don't see her going Darklette for real.
