WIJFLT: Code Name Verity (NS)

OMG, sooo good!  So heartbreaking but amazing at the same time.  The narrators for this book are amazing too.  It took me a little to get into the style, mostly because you are not really sure what is going on at first.  And I loved seeing a little part of the WWII world with the airmen and spies.

  • I picked up this book on a whim at my favorite independent bookstore.  It was on the staff recommendation table.  I am soooooo happy that I took the staff's advice and read it.  I thought it was excellent.

  • I thought this was such an excellent book about friendship and loyalty and sacrifice. When I was reading it,my husband kept asking about it since I was so engrossed but I couldn't figure out how to explain the plot without giving it away so he ended up reading it and enjoyed it as well. He normally doesn't read historical fiction so I consider that a success!
