One year (loss mentioned)
One year ago today we found out that we had lost our first angel. I was 11 weeks pregnant.
The day was just like today: My workday was almost identical and the weather was sunny and warm. I had no idea what was about to hit me that afternoon. As soon as I heard "I can't find a heartbeat" a part of me shut down. I doubt I will ever fully recover from the shock that hit me that day.
In an ironic twist, today would have also been the EDD for my second pregnancy.
I've been dreading this day for months, but so far it isn't as bad as I feared. I had a good cry this morning, and overall I'm just trying to take it easy and be good to myself. I'm not trying to be an AW, just reflecting. So many things can change in a year.
Also, thank you so much for the love and support you have all been to me over the past year. I used to look at this board as just a fun place to talk about TTC and other stuff, but it has truly become a great source of support for me. I love all of you and wish everyone the best.
