Nothing too exciting this week. My cervix was too high for the NP to reach it, so I'm assuming no progress has been made since the last time. As far as I know, I am still a fingertip dilated and 75-80% effaced.
They were a little concerned when I got there because I had protein in my urine, and my feet have been super swollen, but the swelling had gone down since this past weekend and my blood pressure was fine. So that's good news.
The NP said that if I was starting to get too miserable, we could look at speeding things along. We'll just take it week by week. Part of me wants to speed it along, because my emotions are really taking over (anxiety, depression) and I am so uncomfortable, but at the same time I want my baby girl to come when she's ready and I feel like I'd be a failure if I gave up and didn't suck it up and push myself to survive these last few weeks. I'm just going to take her advice and take it week by week and hope little miss decides to come soon. I know she'll be here soon enough, so I'm trying to hang in there.

Re: Appointment Update
When you've been married this long, you need a ticker to remind you.
