So last week H and I were at Buffalo Wild Wings, and they had a new item on the menu.

Poutine.

Now, after reading you ladies talking about it, we just had to order and try it.  Is this truly it?  Because it was amazingness and I want more!

Their description was french fries and cheese curds smothered in gravy, cheese, onions, and tomatoes. H wasn't the biggest fan, and said he won't order it again.  But I had a Sam Adams Oktoberfest with it, and it was the perfect pair.

    According to poutine aficionados, it should be made of gravy, and cheese curds atop fries, no extras. I prefer mine with some braised short ribs, but I've been told that is wrong on so many levels.

    T-TTC since Dec 2008. PCOS/nonexistant cycles(anovulation) and endo. HSG in '10 revealed both tubes blocked. Lap surgery in Dec '10 to correct. Failed Clomid/IUI and injectable(Bravelle)/IUI cycles so far.

    Oh gosh, to me this just sounds like a night on the toilet, followed by a week of heartburn and indigestion, and then a potential heart attack :-& You all have stomachs of steel.

    We actually tried this today but made them leave off the Pico de gallo (the onion and tomato) I told him we could leave off the bacon too and he said that phrase should be illegal. It wasn't Canada good but it was decent.

    Maybe that should be my UO for today. I don't like brown gravy, but will eat a whole pan of white gravy. I blame it on growing up in a farmhouse where overcooked/dry beef was always for dinner, and you would try to smother it in brown gravy to bring it back to life.

    @BruinsBabe33 we're going home for Thanksgiving and somehow I've never managed to have Poutine.  What restaurant in Boston do you think has the best? (like seriously in the city, not outlying areas?)

    The only place worth going to is Saus. Their website is eatfrites.com and they are right next to the purple shamrock and Hennessy's and all those places near Fanueil hall.
