I had a health screening at work this morning (for my insurance discount). Turns out it's a really bad idea to get your blood drawn on about 3.5 hours of sleep. I've never passed out before in my life or even been close but now I know what it feels like to be right on the verge. Had I not told the nurse, I'd have definitely been on the floor.

In better news though, the biggest art competition in the world just started where I live and I'm so excited. We've had this for the last 4 or so years and it makes our normally sleepy downtown literally look like the streets of Manhattan.

Andplusalso, the local news just broke that we're getting an 80 store outlet mall like 10 minutes from my house.

This has been on mymind a lot lately mainly because it boggles my mind. Jenny McCarthy. She went from Jim Carey to Donnie Walberg. They are so different! I don't get it!! Maybe its just me though.

I'm in love with my new truck. I keep finding excuses to drive around.

Our Halloween movie post inspired me to book a take-out/PJs/wine/movie night with my two BFFs to watch Hocus Pocus and Practical Magic. I'm pumped!

I miss my kid today. A lot. More than usual.

Aaaah ArtPrize, I'm dying to get there this year, but I don't think we can swing a trip to GR in the next few weeks. (I grew up there and now live in the DC metro area)

I was at a social media luncheon today and this was said in front of a room full of people:

"I'm familiar with Twitter. But the other day I got an alert that said one of my tweets was favorited. I never heard of that. I guess twitter made up the word favorited? Anyway, I tried to post about it on Facebook and it would not let me type out the word twitter or tweet on Facebook."

There are so many things wrong with that. I can't even.

My boobs have been super sore the last couple of days, so a part of me was hoping/thinking I could be pregnant, but in reality know that's probably not it since I have an IUD. I've definitely had baby fever lately. DH says he's happy with just two. I've always wanted 3.... we'll see what happens.

On a related note, I was in a consignment store in Richmond earlier today and saw a pair of gently used black Manolo Blahniks for sale for $128. They were size 7 1/2. *shakes fist at sky*

We are picking up our new vehicle tomorrow and I am sooooooooo excited!!! I feel really bad that A has to trade in his truck but he is so excited (so I know I shouldn't feel bad but I can't help it)!!
