Back From the Doc
I had my follow up this morning to ensure my cysts were gone and make sure the rest of my reproductive parts were ready to go . Ultrasound was fine- thin lining and polycystic ovaries of course. We are starting our 3rd IUI cycle today- starting with Femara, then introducing 100 iu of Follistim starting Tuesday, first e2 Thursday morning.
I am cautiously hopeful this time will work, but did have a very long discussion about moving forward to IVF. Doc mentioned that we've had 2 pretty close to perfect IUIs and he is afraid there may be some underlying problem we don't know about. Mr's sperm count is a bit low- 8 million washed, so I'm not sure if that has any affect on things.
Long story short, I'm a bit anxious (more than usual) and may be a bit more needy here over the next 4 weeks.
