pr dream and a question

Last night I had a dream in which I took a pregnancy test and it was positive. I said, "Better start knitting baby stuff now" followed by, "Wait. What if those progesterone pills gave me a false positive?!" It's weird how things from real life work themselves into dreams. Even though I know the HCG turns a test, that's something I would do (second guessing things).

As far as the progesterone goes, have any of you guys who have taken it continued to drink while on it? I'm taking it orally if that matters. I want to have another cider every now and then but am afraid of what it might be like. This is my first time on progesterone supplements.

I'm a little confused by your question. When in your cycle are you? Generally progesterone is during 2ww. If that's the case then the drinking question is more of a personal preference of do you want be in camp "drink till its pink" or not. Prog doesn't effect it one way or the other.

  • Ditto @cincodemayolove. It's really a personal decision. I was in the drink-til-it's-pink camp until I started IVF.

  • No advice on the progesterone but I know how frustrating PR dreams can be. I had two last weekend that seemed very realistic. It's a bummer when you wake up...

  • Cinco & ILRV- I meant it as a how is it going to react with alcohol? Will it make me sick or anything? Sorry it wasn't phrased very well. Uptown-yup. Those dreams suck. Provence, did it make you feel any different while you were taking it? I guess it's one of those things where it reacts differently with everyone.
    Thanks guys!
  • Progesterone is a naturally occurring hormone. It does not interact with alcohol
