Re: Motivational Monday!

  • I'm going to accomplish not being lazy and work out.

How am I going to do it? by twerking. Yes, twerking. There is this Vixen Army workout thing that my SIL goes to and I told her I would go (this happened while we were drinking).  I have heard great things and you shed about 700-900cals in an hour.  Pray for me.

  • Packing upstairs. I have the main floor done. J and I are packing the basement on Oct 2. My goal is to finish packing the second floor on Wed/Thursday this week. Than I can relax for the next 3 weeks until I have to pack the everyday stuff.

    I also need to exercise.

I will do this by remembering that I have a deadline. It is fast approaching.

I will get the exercise done by actually doing the WII/DVD's that I purposely left out for this reason. Oh and by walking Remy.

  • @hoycie It is always easier to workout when you have someone else to do it with.  Also that workout sounds like fun.

It does sound fun. I've seen videos of the work outs and it's like they are all dancing in a club.

I fully expect Miley Cyrus gifs lmao.

  • I'm going to join the local YMCA and start swimming.  I already ordered a swimsuit this morning!

  • I'd like to stay on track with calorie counting and trying to get as close to 10k steps in the days I don't exercise and exercise the days I'm short on steps.

I plan on doing this by paying attention to my fitbit, logging on MyFitnessPal, and remembering how nice it was to see a lower number on the scale and have more energy.

  • I want to complete my elf's gift!  I just have to make a decision on what the last thing will be and get a box.

Also, CLEAN MY EFFING HOUSE.  We are outgrowing our tiny house and shit is piling up everywhere.  My thought is to take one room a night and deep clean it.

  • A. I need to get through at least half of my revisions. I'm going to park myself at B&N and a couple of coffeehouses to get this done without distraction.

    B. I need to figure out my Halloween costume. It's my absolute favorite time of the year and I can't wait to spend Halloween in New Orleans. Talk about CRAZY TIMES.

    C. I need to get my oil changed in my car. I've put it off long enough. Poor Blanche is just about to give out on me.
I write sexy books. I read all the books. I love dresses & macarons.

  • My only goal this week is to relax finally. I've been working like 60 hours a week for the past couple and I'm at the end of my rope. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel so now I plan to go home, play with the kids and do nothing.

  • Accomplish: job search, work out, finish my homework for this and next week

How: Each day research the companies that are hiring, research the positions- apply; buckle down and go for a run; give myself 2 hours to work on my homework each day until it is all done.

  • I have got to iron.  Every weekend I say I will iron the four ruffled shirts I bought.  Throwing them in the dryer doesn't work - I tried.  I also really need to turn and burn on grading papers.

I have tomorrow off for a doctor's appointment, so I should be able to get the ironing and some of the grading done.

  • 1. I need to pick/purchase the last two things for my elf's gift. This is harder than I thought!

To do this I just need to go with my gut. I've had it narrowed down for a week and I just need to purchase them and quit debating with myself about it.

    2. I also need to read up on all the research for my literature review paper but we have to have at least twenty sources so of course I'm procrastinating.

Easy. Quit being a lazy ass and do it. I have about thirty to read through so I need to try and read five or six a day and get it done by the end of the weekend.

    1. Go for a walk every day this week.
    2. Try 2 new recipes.
    3. Paint and install B's bedroom door.

I have the stroller set up in the kitchen to remind me!

I already picked out 2 recipes and have all the ingredients. I made one of them last night.

It already has the coats of primer, just needs 2 coats of paint. It's set up in the dining room so I hope to spend Wednesday nap times painting.
