Can you change your city/zip?

I have a question about changing my city name and zip...

My Township, city and zip don't match up -meaning, my city name and zip belong to other surrounding townships, not the one I live in. Makes no sense to me. I believe we should be changed to the surrounding city/zip (all of the streets around me in my development are). Does anyone know if this can be changed and who would be contacted (township, USPS)? It is really annoying.

    No. It cannot be changed.

Your mailing address is based upon the post office that covers your mail.  A good example is Upper Darby Township. In Upper Darby, you have several different mailing addresses:
    - Upper Darby, PA 19082
    - Drexel Hill, PA 19026 (there is no borough or township of Drexel Hill, it's simply a place name and a post office name for a section of Upper Darby Twp)
    - Aldan, PA 19018 (sections are in UD, but there is also Aldan Borough)
    - Lansdowne, PA 19050 (sections are in UD, but there is also Lansdowne Borough)

I grew up in a house with an Aldan, PA mailing address, yet our taxes were paid to UD, we were in UD school district, and if there was an emergency the UD police responded.
