Anyone have an interest in it?

I'm intrigued by the whole concept. I'm solo with the kids this weekend, and I'm toying with the idea of taking them down to see it, but I haven't seen if there are any duck-related family activities after the Friday party, and I'm not up for that.

Anyone else planning to check it out?

Also, after all the publicity over the Cultural Trust's intellectual property fight with the Toonseum, I kind of want a Quack n' at shirt.

Depending on weather, we're planning to meet downtown after work and check it out. I'm a little concerned about finding parking and what we'll be able to find for the kids to eat easily...but Friday night is sort of the best night for us to be "spontaneous". :-)

I want a Quack 'nat shirt too! We are thinking about going down to see it, but it will depend on what time we get home from work and how motivated I am to head back into town!

Amanda, I believe it's actually staying around through October 20, after this weekend it's "ducking" somewhere near the point.

I'm not sure why, but I'm so disappointed we won't be able to see this duck in person. I started following the story back in the Spring, when it was announced!

I'm hoping for lots of FB pics of this damn duck!

We went down yesterday afternoon way after the Great Race & I have never seen as many people downtown on a non-sports day in all the years I have been here. It was insane. Parking at the usual $5 lot was $10! On a Sunday!

I assume b/c it was the great race they didn't have any vendors (food, drink etc..) out & about but they would have made a killing. If they were smart they would set up some.

Kids loved it. I felt quite silly but at least I didn't but the $10 toy rubber duck!
