I can laugh now...

but an hour ago I was freaking out!

Backstory: Sunday L managed to lock the powder room door with no one inside. N was freaking out and so I explained its nbd an you just pop it by putting something in the little hole. He got a small tool thing and 'pop'...easy as pie.

Fast forward to nap time today: L was having a hard time going down for her nap so I figured I"d go back up and give her another kiss and hopefully she'd fall asleep. I get up and realize she's locked her door. I then realize she can't open it for me bc I have one of the childproof door things so she can't get out at night. So, nbd, I tell her I'll come back up after I get the tool. Then I find out N didn't put it back in the tool box, so I call him and ask where the tool thing is. I find it. I go upstairs...put it in the hole...and NOTHING. I tried, and tried, and tried. So I call N back to see if there was a special trick when he did it- nope. So I'm freaking out. She's crying, C is crying...I decide I'm going to go across the street and see if my neighbor, Jim, can come try. (We really don't know these people that well and I'm afraid they're going to judge, lol). Well, on my way across the street I see that a woman I know has come to pick up some bushes from my garden I put on fb for people to take. SO, this woman I know, who is a total pathological liar and a crazy person (I've known her long enough to know, believe me!) ends up coming in and rescuing L from her room. OMG. I can laugh now, but it's time to reverse that doorknob!!
