  Girl I completely understand what you are going through. We had our old house for sale last October until we finally closed in April. Showings SUCK! But one day my best friend and her husband had this 'feeling' that the people that were looking at it that day were going to make an offer. And they were right. It was awesome! It's all SO worth it in the end I promise. I will keep sending good nestie vibes!

  ^this comment made me giggle because DH and I go to every open house we can find every weekend! Its our fun free entertainment...I think we have been in probably at least 1/4 of the houses within walking distance of us at some point or another over the past 3 years....I LOVE going through other peoples houses!

  I was glad we didn't list our house until we moved into the new one, that way I didn't have strangers walking through my home.  We have only had 3 showings and not one offer.  We're ditching our agent as soon as the contract is up (which isn't soon enough) and getting someone who will actually market the house for sale.

  Nope.it's the area mostly. We also have to walk up a ton of steps to get to our front door since we live on the third floor so that's turning a lot of people off. I can't blame them though! The steps are a big reason why we're moving. We get a lot of the same feedback - shows well but didn't like the neighborhood, area, decided against a condo, etc.
