Sixth Anniversary 500 Love Its 1000 Comments Name Dropper

My nephew has taken a real interested in the mail. He loves the idea of sending something to someone and getting something back. My Step-SIL wants to encourage this and has asked for "pen-pals" for him. I would love to join in, but I can't think of anything to send him. Anyone have any suggestions?

    When I a kid, I had bought a book at a school book sale that was just lists of companies that kids could write to and that company would send them free stuff back.  I think it was called Free Stuff for Kids.  They put out a new book every year.  I'm sure they've stopped now that a lot of companies let you request stuff online.  As a side note, I freaking LOVED that book.  I got so much cool free stuff.  I still have one of the things I got which was a bunch of stickers from Coca Cola with their logo in all different languages.

    But what about encouraging him to write letters to his favorite companies/celebrities/athletes and see who responds?  Maybe do some research ahead of time about ones that are known to respond often.  





    dx:  Unexplained IF (mild MFI)

     TTC since May 2011, 1 year trying, and then 3 TI, 2 IUI = BFN

    IVF #1 (May 2013):  Antagonist Protocol: 
    24R, 18M, 15F w/ICSI; 5dt of 2 early blasts, no frosties = BFN
    IVF #2 (August 2013):  Lupron Stop Protocol: 
    28R, 23M, 15F w/ICSI; 5dt of 1 partially hatched blast, 7 frosties = BFP
    EDD 5/23/14, blighted ovum (6w6d), D&C (8w6d)
    FET #1 (April 2014):  transferred 2 5d blasts = BFP

    I forgot about that book! I had one too. Looking on amazon they still have them, I might have to send one to him!

    That book sounds awesome! I would send postcards :) and any time you go anywhere (even the next town over) pick up a couple postcards from there. Then he gets a cool picture and a quick note.

    Postcards, a card with a picture you drew for him or a photo of the two of you together, Halloween card, an interesting article about a sports team or other hobby that he likes (appropriate for kids), a subscription to a kids magazine...there's so much!
    Diagnosed with Severe DOR at 31 years old (AMH .14 FSH 9.8) 
    D & L are here at 34 weeks 4 days by vaginal and breech delivery on 11/19/2013
