What will you read in honor of it? Me, I'm finishing HP3.
My favorite Cake Wreck ever.
Re: Happy Banned Book Week!
I am reading Smoke by Ellen Hopkins.
I even had a teacher today ask me why To Kill a Mocking Bird was banned.
Izzy and Baby A ~ Adorable Punks
There was only one book that I had read and wish I hadn't.

Could I pay you for a file download, and put your credit on them? These are awesome, and I would love to share them with my students. I passed out the pretty boring ones from ALA this year.

I discussed banned books week with my students, had a display case of popular books with post it's describing why they were banned, and a printable packet for them to look through about banned books.
Today I heard through the grapevine that some of teachers (one's I don't see) thought I had started banning books and taking books off the shelves. Ugh. UGH UGH. Thanks, jr. high kids. Thanks. At least it did get them talking about this though, outside of the library...?
