Re: 3T Check In

  • 12dpo, basically. I tested, BFN. I'm alright, surprisingly. I've had cramps over the past few days and have been over analyzing like crazy, but we will see. My heart says that I am out.

At this point, assuming it is accurate, we have some timing decisions to make. There are three frozen embryos still and we had decided to get through all of this by the end of 2013. However... I don't know if it is possible with some other life stuff going on. But I don't want to wait. I don't know.

    Hopefully it is too early.

I promise- I'm ok. I don't need hugs or sympathy right now. Maybe on Monday, though. :)

Qotw: love-just bein in HR... it's fantastic! Hate-getting up in the mornings

Ffc: I'm considering going home. I have a sinus headache that is making me queasy and I just feel like crap. I could prob survive the day, but I don't know if I want to

In Christ alone my hope is found. He is my LIGHT, my STRENGTH, and my SONG!

  • @ILoveRedVino - I hope it's just too early. I'm not hugging you yet because I have hope. <3

@RockABye - I'm sorry you feel shitty. Go home and feel better. :-)

As for me, pretty sure today is O day (hopefully). Not expecting anything.

QOTW - I love that my company develops drugs that help cure so many diseases. I hate that my commute is so motherfucking long.

  • @ILoveRedVino - I think I can imagine how you feel on thinking you are okay. I had the same feelings this cycle. I hope it is just early for you.

@RockABye - Go home, girl! I am also contemplating it. I am having very painful cramps and do not want to sit in traffic at the end of the day.

@amandaf6383 - Hope it is! YAY!

My update - this IUI gave me my 2nd BFP but I m/c. I am doing okay.  I am sad but I am trying to focus on getting new questions answered and moving forward.

I love my boss, he is really good to me. I dislike office drama.
    TTC Since 1/2009

    3/2014 - IVF - BFP M/C @ 7weeks

  • Updates: Went and had my CD 21 blood work yesterday. I'm afraid that they forgot to draw the progesterone. I gave them both of the scripts so I hope that they ran all the tests that were needed. I also don't think I've O'ed yet but I'm not sure. I hope we don't have a long cycle this time because I want to get all this testing done. DH's SA is October 4th.

QOTW: I love teaching kindergarten and first grade music. I love seeing how excited they get about the little things we do. I hate how it seems like I am constantly sick/losing my voice. I can't figure out if it is a problem with my immune system or just the nature of my job.

FFC: Sometimes I worry about my weight and getting pregnant. I go between wanting to wait for further treatment until I lose a bunch of weight and then thinking that it will all somehow be ok so there's no reason to wait. I definitely wish I was in better health because I think I'd feel more at ease about it all.

@uptowngirl2009 - I understand your feelings about weight. I struggled with it, too. Just know that plus size women are perfectly capable of having a healthy and joyful pregnancy. I definitely recommend losing weight while you are TTC if you and your doctor are on board, however I don't think you need to put TTC on hold completely.

  • Thanks @amandaf6383. I posted on GPM about this and I do know that many plus sized women have perfectly healthy pregnancies. It's just a worry for me. I was surprised my doctor didn't mention my weight when we had our first appointment but if he is comfortable then I guess I should be.

If I can ever get over this crud that I have right now I want to start exercising. My parents are going to bring my exercise bike up from home so I can start exercising inside when it's too cold out. I'd rather have the treadmill but my mom keeps saying, "Maybe I will start exercising." She never does. Oh well!

    My TTC Journey Blog

  • Update: 4th day of spotting. I called the doc, and they're not concerned, even though I've never spotted this early in a cycle before. I think 4 days of post-O bleeding is weird (they think that's what this may be).
I am going to talk more to DH about paying for IVF OOP if insurance won't cover it for a few more months. I'm really worried about my mental health long term right now. TTTC, according to my therapist, can increase chances for PPD and lifelong anxiety. We can afford IVF OOP, and insurance might only cover one per year. DH was going to call today.

QOTW: the same stuff you hear from any teacher. I love seeing kids make connections and "get it." I hate inconsistent leadership and helicopter/unsupportive parents.

FFC: I am scared shitless this spotting is indicative of something bigger. I'm scared that they missed something in my dx because my RE was more interested in finding a new job. :-(:-(

  • @poppies717 I really hope your spotting is nothing. If it helps at all, I had one cycle where I spotted like 18 days out of a 20 day span and it was "normal". FX yours is the same (but stops soooo much sooner)

    @iloveredvino FX it's too early!

@amandaf6383 Hope today is O and you get an unexpected BFP this cycle!

@rockabye FX you O on your own again and I hope you're feeling better this afternoon.

@celiciam21 I'm so sorry for your loss.

@cecilliam21  I am so sorry for your loss.

@RockABye   I hope last cycle wasn't a fluke and your body continues having it's act together.

@amandaf6383  I really hope today is o day for you!!

@ILoveRedVino  I hope it was just too early and you get your BFP soon!

Uptowngirl2009 I feel like if you doctor isn't concerned you shouldn't be either but that it doesn't hurt to try and get healthier and TTC at the same time. I hated watching people heavier than me get PG easily but I still worked hard to get myself healthy. Everyone is different.

poppies717 I hope the spotting stops and/or you get some answers about it.

QOTW: I love love my job and what I do. I love working with the LO's and seeing them meet a new goal or milestone. I hate all the bureaucratic and admin BS that is going on right now.

Update: I don't have one. I'm at CD9...perhaps I'll O on our anniversary next week :)  We're thinking we'll try IUI once or twice more once we come back from London.  I suspect that if those don't work that'll be it for us.

Job: I love the type of work I do and I have a wonderful team.  I hate some of the bureaucratic stuff, but that's what you get when you work for government.

Ceci I can't even stand it. I'm glad you're ok, but I'm so sad for you.
Flamingo I'm so excited for you to move forward with adoption!

Update: I'm trying so hard to not read in to everything... But I already am. Is that a good cramp? Or a bad cramp? Am I nauseous because I are cheetohs for a snack? Or because I'm KU? Man it's gonna be a long coupla days.

Best: I love love helping people. With the babies I love being the one to help them sit for the first time, crawl for the first time, walk for the first time. Most women only get that with their children and I get it with about 20 kids a year. I love them all and my families are so great at keeping in touch with me even when their out of our program. With the adults, I love teaching them things about their bodies that they didn't know and giving them back a pain free life that had been take from them.

Worst: sometimes I get pooped on and or vomited on. It's really hard to stay stress free and not active while little Lu is trying to implant, and it's very physically mentally and emotionally demanding. And also, no convenient nesting/ fbing time ;)

  • Sending all my love to you, ladies. ((Hugs)) Update: nada, we had no timing this cycle so I'm just waiting for AF and my appt on the 16th. QOTW: I love that I'm teaching kids, get to come in for 9 and leave at 3:30, don't have to deal with the parent side, and I don't have to lesson plan. I am uber sad that it doesn't count as experience, and my pay isn't that great.
  • @iloveredvino I hope that it was too early. I am really hoping this is it for you.

@ceciliam sending you lots of love. <3

@Flamingo86 I am so happy that you have come to a decision. Good luck!
