Happy One Monthiversary ;-)!

Well, today is one month since our wedding! I can't believe how fast the time has flown by and it almost feels like it never happened; it has been an amazing month though! I'm going to try to talk H into agreeing to eating the top tier of the cake we saved tonight LOL. We barely shared a slice at the wedding and I really don't want to wait the whole year...I told him we can get a mini wedding cake made for our anniversary instead but he wasn't very receptive to the idea. Booo.

Anyways, I figured that most of us have hit that mark by now so thought I'd say Happy One Month to everyone else too! One month down, and a lifetime to go :-)

Re: Happy One Monthiversary ;-)!

  • H and I didn't end up saving the cake! I ate it. Haha. It was sooo yummy.

We wont hit our one month mark until next week but I love when I wake up on Saturday and we can say it has been another week.

Everything has gone amazing but neither of us feel any different. Everyday is just another day with no real significant difference at all. H guesses that is what happens when you get married and you were happy to begin with. He is glad we didn't get married to "fix" existing problems.

Happy one month (or close to) everyone!

  • We're lame and didn't do anything. But that's how we roll. It's crazy to think the 2 month mark is quickly approaching for those of us married the 1st weekend!

  • We didn't do anything special either, but we had also just returned from our honeymoon. We were jet lagged and still had to drive two hours back home.

  • Hi Belle,

We have been married for over a year now. Our one year anniversary was July 21st and we had my husband's grandma save the one portion of the cake for the anniversary in her freezer. It still tasted delicious! I think it depends on how it's made, what type of icing etc., whether it will still stay good or not. On our wedding day, we didn't do the cake smushing thing. But on our anniversary my husband decided he was going to try and do so at our anniversary party. Well he ended up getting most of the cake on his face..lol So it backfired to say the least! May you have many happy years with your husband..: )
