Since there are so many new ladies, I thought it might be good to share what items have helped us later pregnancy/new moms get through the past 9 months.
For me, it's a yoga ball. It has made all the difference with getting through the contractions I've had recently. It also really helps take the pressure off my hips just sitting on it. I highly recommend getting one.
Anyone else have recommendations?

I've really come to rely on my Snoogle. At first, I didn't really think I needed it, but it has helped immensely now that I am getting pretty big!
For after baby arrives: Tucks pads -- not for hemis but for general swollenness and soreness

And staying active. I was weeding the night before I went into labor and I seriously think staying active kept me healthy and helped me labor.

Later- body pillow or pregnancy pillow, especially one you can put between your knees to sleep;
panty liners (I had to wear them daily)
Switching to a bigger bra as early as possible. I love this one from Target

Boppy body pillow- it doesn't bitch about being kicked all night
Pepcid every morning and tums throughout the day, especially when you can't find wings hot enough and are putting chili powder in your veggie beer soup. Ok didn't really use chili powder but my husband swore I did.
Chapstick. My lips got extra dry last winter.
Weekly chiro visits all of third tri. Sometimes a few extras.
