Welcome July 2013 Wives!
I see nobody has ventured or posted here but I figured I would kick it off! I really hope we are able to keep it going here! We should just start with general info to introduce ourselves as always. I will start.
My name is Alyssa and my husband is named Adam. We are living at and working for a private school in Maine. We are currently working really hard to pay off 25,000 dollars worth of student loans and beef up our savings account so we can hopefully start trying to get pregnant with our first! We are moving into a new apartment in ten days and we plan to do a LOT of work to it. I will have tons of before and after photos to share!
Hope we can all chat and remain close!

I won't list names, as I'm kinda weird about being all over the internet, but right now H and I are both finishing up our bachelors degrees and I'm in the middle of the dental school application cycle. We already lived together, so we are pretty settled into our home with our lovely dog.
Right now our goals are general saving. We took FPU and use the YNAB budgeting software. I'm hoping to get into Creighton's dental school, so the pending move from Iowa to Nebraska is keeping us from purchasing a home. Post graduation I won't have any school debt, but H is bringing about $30,000 into the mix. Luckily, we have no other debt besides that so we are hoping to get that paid off at gazelle speed!
Training to be the next companion.
I'm Amanda and got married on July 13th. H and I have been together for over 5 years and were already living together. The only thing that feels weird is my new last name haha. We have a basset hound who will be our only baby for another couple years. We are trying to move out of our apartment and into a house, even if we just end up renting one.
Other than that things haven't really changed. I plan on getting a new car soon using some of the money we received from the wedding. I seriously can't wait!
I look forward to keeping in touch with the fellow July wives I know and getting to know those I haven't had a chance to talk to yet.
My hobbies are reading, writing, baking/cooking, gardening, and knitting (makes me sound so domestic!) I'm also really into yoga and I'm starting to transition into clean/green living and eating, though I've definitely got a ways to go! Taking it really slow so that DH doesn't get overwhelmed
I'm Kristen(26) and married DH Giancarlo(29) on July 20th. We live in the SF East Bay Area and are in the process of buying our first house and I can't wait to move in (hopefully next month) so we can start decorating and renovating! We also want to do as much traveling as possible in our first year of marriage and then hopefully start TTC.
I work in finance but have started wedding coordination on the side and would love to make it full time one day. I love wine, reading, interior design, and shopping :-)
@nateandjustine I moved from nj to ca 7 years ago and I know exactly what you're going through with not knowing anyone. It takes time but you'll find your group of friends out there and it gets easier. I feel very fortunate to have great friends in ca and in nj and I'm sure you will soon too!
Hello ladies!!!
Im Shilo and Dh is Tony. We live near St Louis on the IL side of the river. While I hate it here, I love my job. Im a social worker in the foster care system. It is a very stressful job, which means I may lurk frequently, and vent even more, but I love it. Well, not at the moment, but usually, lol. Due to not liking it at the moment I have applied for another job in my field. No expectations, but we shall see. DH is a physicist working for Bausch and Laumb (sp) temporarily. He was a college professor so hopefully he can find something again soon. In a few years we hope to move to a smaller town, but for now we are stuck.
We each have kids. He has 4, ages 16-23. I have two, 13 and 17. His oldest is married and his wife is expecting. His oldest daughter is also pregnant. His youngest son is in the army in TX and will be deployed to Korea in January. His youngest daughter, not my favorite to be honest, is still in high school.
We will be TTC as soon as we can. My next step in my career is to get licensed. I have my masters already, just need more credentials. DH wants to get his doctorate, just not sure when.

My husband and I are super secretive about public info, so since this forum is public, I'll go by Woods. We got married the 13th in Pasadena. He bought a house when we were dating, and I moved it once I had the ring. We love our house! He owns a toy store, and I'm a preschool teacher and toy store shop employee. It's a kid centered house. We have a bird that we took from my parents, but I'm hoping to gain more animals soon.
I'm Erika and my DH is Tony. We live in the Minneapolis, MN area. We have a 3 year old son together and I now have a 15 year old stepdaughter and 19 year old stepson. I work for a law firm and DH is a police officer. We got married 7/13/13 and it was simply fantastic!

My name is Verse and my DH is Rob. We got married on July 17th in Washington State.
I'm currently finishing up my last year of college in our little college town! DH already graduated and is in the Army. He is currently in TX, deploying to Afghanistan next month.
We're planning on moving into a house once he gets back next year.
We have 3 fur babies; a 10 year old dog, a 7 year old cat, and a 3 year old dog-cat (He's genetically a cat, but he acts like a dog! xD). No plans for any more babies at the moment.

I'm DeAnna, husband's name is Bryan. We've been together for a total of 5 years. We just got married on July 26th. We had about 250 people at our celebration.
Bryan currently works for a HUGE manufacturing company, while I work part time taking care of my best friends 2 young boys and her mom who has Lou Garret's disease. I am currently in school as well to become a Radiology Tech. Bryan would love to go back to school as soon as I finish(fingers crossed that will be in 3 years!)
After I graduate, our goal is to move to Southern California. Once there, we hope to start our family.
