How Spendy was your weekend
Re: How Spendy was your weekend
Friday- $0
Saturday- $293 clothing (planned-had money for it)
Sunday- $273 clothing (not planned-opps!)
I am totally revamping my fall/winter wardrobe (definitely needed it and I got tons of tops) To offset this, I have old clothes that will be going to consignment
Lunch with parents at BBQ restaurant: $60
Dinner with husband at Red Lobster: $30
Cargo shorts and some t shirts from Kohls for husband: $105
Pending: A/C repair which will be around $260
Friday $0
Saturday $0
Sunday $55 Target, $5 TJ Maxx, $75 groceries
Total $135.
Saturday- garage sale .30
Oshkosh sale for baby clothes $57
Babies R Us $11
Groceries 71
Sunday- 0 football party at home
total $219
The Oshkosh purchase was an impulse, so not too good there, but on the other hand I got onesies for $2 and overalls for $8 so it was a pretty great deal. And I got $10 back for my next purchase.
Friday- $25 on dinner out
Saturday- $160 on a new kitchen sink faucet
$15 on a wine tasting groupon
$49 at the winery for some food and a bottle of wine
$12 on some beer for a Beerfest party that night
$20 on a sushi lunch
$14 on haircut for hubby
Sunday- nothing because we stayed in since we spent so much the other days! But hubby installed the faucet which saved us the $255 charge the plumber told us it would cost if he installed it. So that was nice!
So, $295. Some was planned and some wasn't! Oh well...
Friday-$0. I did some yardwork while H went in to work on his day off.
Saturday-$35 at the state fair (we did save some money by walking there instead of paying for parking so that's something at least! H wanted to drive but I told him it was silly to sit in backed up traffic when the park is only a mile away)
Sunday-$68 on groceries, but made up for it with H going in to work OT again.
Friday - $35 on Groceries, $45 on Gas, $1.50 on Redbox, $17 on prescription (all budgeted items except Redbox)
Saturday - $20 on lunch, $120 for hotel room for wedding, $100 for wedding gift (all budgeted)
Sunday - $35 for lunch, $10 for admission to car show
Total = $383.50
Our goal this week is to only spend $35 on groceries again, and to just fill up the cars with gas. Hopefully we can stick to this.
