Both our parents are divorced, but get along well and we have family dinners often. Every single thing about our relationship his side of the family has found out first, so I would not let go of it, my side was finding out first. So I asked for a family dinner at my dad's with everyone. My sister was convinced I was going to tell them I was PR until about 3 days before when we got our dog Breezy and I put a picture on facebook. She told my other sister that if that's what I called the dinner for, she would be ticked! So I used this against her.
In the middle of eating dinner, I tell my parents "oh by the way! you guys are grandparents!" And show them this:

My sister gives me the dirtiest look and refuses to talk the rest of dinner! As my dad walks away, I pull out a walmart bag for my mom and tell her "H and I found this at Walmart and thought you'd like it."

My mom is not a person who cries easily. So I didn't expect much from her. She gets to "name" and has to go back and re-read so I'm confused what is taking her so long and don't pull out my camera. She finally finishes, looks up at me with tears in her eyes, and says "you're going to have a baby?" I started tearing up too! It meant so much to me that she got tears in her eyes because like I said, my mom is not the type that cries.
After we finish with my family, we go to MILs where my SIL currently also lives with her H and my nieces. No one is home! The funny thing is, when we went to tell them we were engaged, again no on was home! I call SIL and they're staying at BIL's grandma's for the night so they aren't coming home. We call MIL and she's a home care nurse and had an extra patient added on. We waited an hour and half for her to come home. She gets home and we ask her to sit down. This time I had the camera ready because I realized while waiting I forgot my mom's picture. H ask her to sit down and pulls out the Walmart bag and says the same thing "M and I were are Walmart, saw this, thought you'd like it." Here's MIL reaction

My MIL gives us both a hug and ask to call SIL. She does and at first, she's confused. She's PR and due in Nov, so she didn't understand "May" at first. Then she realized and started screaming and begged MIL to bring us over so she can give us each a hug. So we head over. When we get there, my nieces give us "Congratulation" cards. The oldest literally wrote "Good Aunt and Uncle!"

I really hope these pics worked...
