1) How accurate is gender prediction at 17w? She showed us more than once, but for some reason, I just want to be sure. Lol. I am still "sneaky" on here but I might be able to PM you the pic..or post it and have you PM me back or whatever if you wanted to see it.
2) Talk to me about benefits of the a/s. It's apparently optional...and it terrifies me. I just seems like it looks for so much and I am fairly sure we want to do it, but it's optional and I still have to decide.

I would say gender at 17 weeks should be accurate, PM me the pic and I will see if you want.
Was the 17 weeks ultrasound an elective gender only thing?
I would say that the anatomy scan is very important. I can't begin to list the number of things that can be detected during an 18-22 week scan. Ive never heard of it being optional, honestly. Well, I mean, everything is optional. But Ive never really heard of people not having it routinely done. Is this a Canada thing? Unless your 17 week scan was offical, then maybe she looked at anatomy then?
