I know there were some subpar reviews of this one but I enjoyed it.  At first, I was frustrated because I really don't remember the Hex Hall books and I was wracking my brain - Who are the Brannicks?  What is a Prodigium?  But after a chapter or two, I realized it really didn't matter and I was hooked.  It's a really fast read and entertaining.  Perhaps a little hokey but I gave it 4 stars.

    I still haven't read the last HH book. I'm so behind. This one sounds really cute but everyone's reviews have made me hesitant to read it. Based on what you've said, I think I should give it a go!

    @pinkybooklover09 I loved the Hex Hall series so at first I thought this was just so of "meh".  I got hooked though.  Mindless, silly fun.  We all need that kind of book sometimes, right?

    I really enjoyed this book as well, it did take me a bit to remember things but overall it was excellent.

    I had heard some negative reviews before reading it but I really enjoyed it too. And like you it took me a bit to remember some things but I don't think it took away from the story at all. Glad you liked it!
