Baby boy! We are so excited and looking forward to meeting him in February!
Re: It's a...
I had posted a while back about everything going on and its just been a very stressful time so I haven't been able to log on much.
I'm due in Feb too (20th). What day are you due?? We're not finding out so I guess we'll find out in February if they don't take the baby early.
We have a name (Caleb Adam) but we haven't shared because we want something to be a surprise when the baby comes! My parents know and my sisters do, my best friend does and my good friend that is my coworker but that is it.
I want exactly surprised because I thought it was a boy from day one! I said that I thought it was a boy so many times that DH was sure I was right too, lol. When they told us it was a boy it was anticlimactic because we were already so sure of that!
Both would be after my Dad (George Bailey) since he died in 08.
I just wanted to wait to find out and keep something happy to look forward to. I was diagnosed with cancer in July. Its treatable but we're waiting until after baby is born to do anything because of the risks to the baby. I'm scared to death really. Of having this new baby at home that I know nothing about....of what they could find when they go in to remove the cancer...of the recovery while at home with the new baby and my hormones not being regulated once they remove my thyroid and how that could affect me..then having to be away from everyone while I go through the radioactive iodine treatment. So yeah, I just needed to have a good surprise before all that hits me at once.
