Got the results back for my 2nd beta, and it was at 153. The first was at 84. So we're in the clear.  They told me to call immediately though if I have any spotting, cramping, or anything that doesn't feel right.

The dating ultrasound is set for November 3rd.

I'm going to set up a 2nd clicky poll of the day too, because I have a question regarding Dr's.

Re: 2nd Betas

  • That's great!  The only thing I don't like about your post is that you have to wait a whole month to see baby!!!

  • @jennahack They said that if there are no complications, then they like to try and get a look around 8 weeks. Mostly because at that point we (and they) get to see more.

I don't like it either, but I really believe that I'm not as far along as they are predicting (based on O date). Which that u/s should confirm. So I don't want to risk going too soon and not seeing anything.

That totally makes sense!  I just hate that you have to wait so long.  :)
