I hate renting an apartment and sucky realtors (not mine).

I have another one. Twice now I have PMed 2 people to offer them support privatly. 1 because her guinea pig was sick and my 2 had just passed. And another one because she lives in CO and she said that her state test scores were very low and wasn't sure what to do about it. I PMed her and told her that I also lived in CO and that our scores increased this year but are still very low. I offered her any resources or ideas.

Neither one has PMed me back and I am irrationally upset by this.

I hate halloween too! I don't know why but I don't really like dressing up. I guess it is because I never have a party or anything to go to.

I really feel like I am doing too much this year, but there is nothing I can back out of at this point. And I don't want to tell J cause I don't want the "I told you so" talk.

@ImperiumWife I feel the same way. I am scared by taking on my latest gig of make up educator might send me overboard. My H would give the same talk.

Hating Halloween? :O no really I get it. I used to love Halloween. It still has a special place in my heart but I rarely celebrate it. I've had class the last few years on Halloween. My confession- I don't want to live with my MIL for 6 weeks. She's sweet and I love her. She'll really be helping me out with Lily while Paul is gone. I just don't like the idea or feel comfortable with being a guest for 6 weeks. Not looking forward to living out of a suitcase that long.

@shellmaneth it will probably be weird not being in your own space at first but I think the time will fly by. Have you started looking for houses here?

I hope time flies by. We've been looking at rentals online. We "should" be coming to visit and look at them Oct 8-14th. P wants to rent for 6 months to a year to give us time to figure out exactly where we want to buy and so we aren't in such a rush to buy. But he's being so picky with rentals I feel like we might as well be buying. Lol. Maybe I can see you and Jen while visiting. P will be working during the day on Thursday, Friday and Monday (they said if he worked a few days they could expense his trip). So Lily and I will just be hanging out in the Hotel.

Would you guys all want to come to my house one night for dinner? Lily could play and it would be more relaxed than going out.

Sure! I'll let you know once we have our tickets booked for sure but those are the dates P and his boss have been emailing about. I have fall break the 11-12 so that is why I can come too. I know we'll probably be looking at places all day on Saturday so not going out for dinner would probably be nice.

It is for some things like a good versus a bad neighborhood. But have a basement for storage space not as important. We can always rent a storage locker. I'd love a basement but I'm not going to rule out anything that doesn't have one.

We rented a two bedroom apt. Not because we needed it, but we turned the second bedroom and bathroom into storage space.

I also wish I had checked my phone inside these apartments when we were looking around. Amazing cell signal outside. None inside.
