FYI: We don't want to exclude some ladies, but this is a check in for ladies who are unfortunately having troubletrying to conceive (TTTC=3T). If you've been trying for more than a year and/or have been diagnosed with any form of infertility OR are now pursuing adoption or have decided to remain childless following a 3T journey, you are welcome to join us.

QOTW - I have so many places I want to go but my absolute dream vacation would be a 2 week jaunt through Italy, France, and England. We would probably do 5 days in each. My top things to see would be:

Italy - Colosseum & Pompeii

France - Versailles & Monet's house/garden

England - Tower of London & anyplace else steeped in Tudor history

Not pregnant, obviously.

I had a breakdown yesterday. It was inevitable. Through our whole IF journey, including loss, we still had hope. I'm losing that, and it's not ok. I'm afraid that the old, happy me may be gone forever. Things will never be the same. I want to hope for the next three embryos, but it just isn't there. I feel defeated, tired, sad, angry, broken.

Dream vacay? Probably one of those "around the world" trips. It's $50k. I'd hit up beaches in Greece, the Caribbean, Fiji, etc... And see places that I've only read about.

I'm so sorry ILRV.

Status: ICD17. 'm peeing on things and waiting for a smiley face. I suspect I should be O-ing Friday or Saturday. I don't hold out any hope of actually getting pg though.

Dream Vacay: I leave in 2 sleeps for London!!! I've always wanted to go, especially to see the Parliament buildings (and many other things). I'd love to visit some of the Eastern European and old Soviet countries. I'd also love to see more of Canada; I just wish plane travel was a bit cheaper. What I have absolutely no interest in is all inclusives or warm weather

QOTW: I really want to take a Mediterranean cruise. Go to Italy, Greece, Israel, Turkey, Eqypt etc. We thought about it for our honeymoon but it was way out of the budget. Maybe when we are old and retired

Update: DH has his SA tomorrow. My body appears to be gearing up for O based on the crazy amount of EWCM I've had. Perfect timing, body! Although maybe O will hold off for a few days and we can get in some ST. I'm not sure if it's just too late in my cycle to really get pregnant though. Waiting for CD 1 to schedule HSG and a second appointment.

QOTW: I think a dream vacation for me would be Hawaii or somewhere tropical. I want to go to a place where the water is so blue. I love beach vacations and just love relaxing on the sand and swimming in the ocean.

We did this for our HM, well part of it. You HAVE to do it! It's such a beautiful part of the world. We went with Royal Caribbean and didn't think it was too expensive. It's the flight over that costs a lot!

Update: I am on my 11th straight day of bleeding. WTF. The past few days have been very light, like pantyliner light, so now I'm just pissed. We have our IVF consult at the new clinic (whoop whoop!) on Monday. I can't wait. The old place finally got their shit together with my HSG records. It says, "Poppies tolerated the procedure well." HA! If screaming and crying means I did well, I'd hate to see those who don't tolerate it well.

QOTW: We've been fortunate enough to see some pretty cool places, but I would love to go to Europe for a month and see Ireland, England, The Netherlands, Germany, Sweden, Finland, Norway, Austria, Poland, and more of Italy and Switzerland. I love to travel. I'd rather stay at home for two years and not go anywhere (weekends away, short vacations) just to go on a big trip for two weeks.

Not much new here. Have talked to a couple adoption agencies and feeling good about that. I'm excited that the raise I got this week will help boost our savings a bit.

Contemplating talking to my gyno about long-term BC (possibly an IUD) b/c I am struggling with this romanticized notion that I will just "forget" to use my diaphragm or a condom in a fit of passion and magically end up with a viable pregnancy. After a long chat with my therapist today, I realized that a more low-maintenance, long-term form of BC might help with the moving forward process.

I love my ob/gyn but I have so many bad memories of that office that I want to put off the birth control consult.

I also need to break up with my acu. He's great but specializes in fertility so obviously I don't need that anymore. I went yesterday b/c I forgot to cancel the appt. and I didn't have to nerve to explain to him that we aren't TTC anymore. I think he suspected that something is up though. He said I seemed a lot happier. I plan to call him this week. I'm sure he will be understanding, it's just that I really enjoy acupuncture so it's hard to let that go.

QOTW: I would just love to lie on a tropical beach with a foofy drink. It doesn't really matter where, as long as it isn't too crowded.

Yeah it wasn't the cruise itself that was expensive, but add in flights, a couple extra nights in hotels on either end, the excursions we actually wanted to do would have been $7000 each!! Still on the bucket list and I'm sure we could do it cheaper but this is what we priced out, one day, one day.

Update: I got a finally got a teaching job, so I had to reschedule my OBGYN appt for November, I'm totally ok with that, though. I'm ready to try one more cycle on our own, then move on to help.

QOTW: The cheapest of my dream vacays is to go somewhere warm with white sand and clear blue water and just enjoy the beach for a week. Otherwise I'd love to travel the world.

We have our first RE appointment on the 9th so that's something. We got the packet of paperwork in the mail yesterday to fill out so its becoming more real now.

Dream vacation would be a week or two at a cottage on a small not crowded beach somewhere that we could walk to little ocean front cafes for each meal. I'm simple and like simple things
