My grandma is being med flighted to one of the big hospitals near her home because they found out she has a brain bleed. She couldn't get up from the table after dinner. She has had multiple heart surgeries in the last couple years, has lung cancer and just found a lump on her breast last month. IDK how much her body can take. I just wanted her to live long enough to meet Caroline. I know that's selfish and I really don't want her to suffer but she doesn't have any other great grand kids and my mom really wanted her to meet at least one. My mom is really wound up too because she lost her dad at a young age and now her mom is really bad off. We could use all the thoughts and prayers you can send.
Update: my gma had a massive stroke and is on a ventilator. She has a signed DNR so if her next ct is no better my mom will probably take her off the vent.
Update 2: Her CT showed that the bleeding had stopped, but that she has a lot of pressure on her brain. She woke up this morning and wrote a note to the nurse that she wanted the tube out and that she was cold. They took the vent off and she is able to breathe on her own for now. She seems in good spirits, but she doesnt understand what happened to her. Her mind is not right at all, so we are not sure what will come next. Thanks for all the T&P, I will try to let you know what happens.

FWIW, I don't think you're being selfish at all. I had those same feelings this pregnancy with my grandpas declining health and am feeling so lucky he made it to see pictures of her. Now I'm hoping he holds out until we can make the drive to see him. I know its tough, just try and hang in there! I'll be thinking of you!
