It's my sister's 30 birthday so we're taking her out tomorrow. This will be my first bender since getting pregnant. Well, as much of a bender as I can get so I can get home, relieve the sitter and be functional at 6am. ::sigh::

Also, all week is my weekend because I'm on staycation!

Tonight I am going to see Carol Rifka Brunt (Tell the Wolves I'm Home). I am very excited. This was one of my favorite books that I read this year.

Tomorrow the hubs and I are going to UNH to spend the afternoon with step-monster. It is 'parents weekend at the college. I am also doing the regular morning routine of meeting mom for breakfast.

Sunday I will cook and bake and possibly go to the neighbors for the football game.

Tomorrow I have a not-so fun dentist appointment but then I am meeting my parents and my sister for lunch to celebrate my dad's birthday. I'm also finally telling them I'm pregnant (we just made our final decision last night after a lot of talking back & forth).

We have been invited to a Octoberfest party on Saturday. It should be interesting. We also have the guy and his gf who traded jobs with mh here this weekend. So I will be entertaining her while the guys work.

I had a lot of plans this weekend, and they all fell through. I am so glad - I need a quiet weekend to futz around the house, clean, cook, and most importantly, read. And I have a yoga class Saturday morning, and a trip to the local farmers' market planned.

I mentioned yesterday that it's our anniversary and we were supposed to be celebrating tonight in the city with a Segway tour tomorrow. Instead we are going to the services for my aunt who passed away. DH did take the day off though so we are head out with A to breakfast and hopefully a pumpkin patch if the weather cooperates.

Sunday will be football all day.

We don't' have any major plans. I really need to get caught up on some housework and some stuff for school. MH is off, so we'll probably find something fun to do. Apple picking? Hiking? Not sure yet. I guess it depends on the weather.

Tomorrow I'm doing wedding stuff with my BFF. She's getting married in 66 days and her shower is in two weeks so we have a billion things to do.

Sunday we're taking Liam to the local Pumpkin festival.

I'm keeping my niece and nephew Saturday night. The last time they stayed the night with me they were perfect, so I'm a little worried that they will be nucking futs this weekend.

We are also getting ready for Tropical Storm Karen and with all of the flooding we have already had this year, I'm actually worried about how bad it is going to be. I also really want to buy a generator because the thought of a 3 and 5 year old at my house with no power (if it goes out) scares me.

Tomorrow is my birthday. My parents are taking my H and I out to dinner, then we are going back to their house to have cake with my brother and his family. During the day we are putting our Halloween graveyard out in our yard and might go buy pumpkins and a cornstalk. Sunday H and I will probably go out to lunch. Otherwise, we need to work out in the yard.

Heading to Oakland to see Matt Nathanson tonight. (Our second time seeing him in 8 days and third concert in as long WHAAAAAAAT?)

Tomorrow I have to go pick up my race packet, and the husband is taking me out to dinner.

Sunday I'm doing the rock n roll half marathon.

I guess it's been a rock star themed week!

This afternoon was supposed to be lunch and drinks to celebrate my championship volleyball season, but our captain is out of work hurt, so we put it off. Bummer. I think I'm having a lazy family night at home.

Tomorrow DD starts gym class in the morning, and I'm hoping to maybe go on a short hike in the afternoon when she gets up from her nap. Maybe yard work in between.

Sunday we're taking DD to a cranberry harvest festival at a train/little kids amusement park place. I think my ILs are coming with to celebrate MIL's birthday.

Not much going on for us this weekend. My sister-in-law is in town so we will be visiting with her tonight, but that's about our only plans. My big goal this weekend is to make lots of progress on Under the Dome.

I usually work every weekend, but I find myself unexpectedly with the first eight hours of my shift off today, so I plan to go to the gym and then do some baking. If I manage to score the rest of my shift off, I was invited to the first birthday party of one of our NICU grads, so I will go to that.

Tomorrow night, I am working night shift, so this could be ALMOST like having an entire weekend off. However, other than bumming around the house and taking a big nap in preparation for staying up all night, I don't have any plans.

Last night, we just went to dinner, watched Ghost Adventures, and got a little creeped out by a random ball of light that formed in our living room.

Today, apple picking after I go to see my niece and nephew at karate.

Tomorrow, heading down to a friend's house for a little bit. Then I'll probably stop at a coffee shop to do a little writing, and laundry.
