  My answer was always "we'll have to wait and see I guess." If someone insisted on telling me that we should have another one is tell them it was their turn, regardless of that person's age.

  I heard it while still out on maternity leave. my answer was always the same. Let me heal from this one first and DH and I will talk about it and decide if/when the time was right. In my case the time apparently was right with my first cycle after weaning DS and before DH and I talked about it much.. lol

  Speak sweetly so that if you ever have to eat your words, they don't taste bad.

  As we were walking out of the hospital, one of the nurses said "see you in 9 months"...Then she went on and on about how nobody follows the 6 week rule. Way to promote not following proper post partum healing rules...DH chimed up and said we were going to be waiting at least two years. We want to enjoy the one we have now.

  omg we heard it a lot in the beginning. However, I feel like once people know about this one, they are going to wonder if it was an oops. Although, I was pretty clear to everyone who asked that if it were up to DH, we would have had a second very quickly, lol.

  My mom was asking it when S was only 2 months old. Ooy.
  
  Funny though, when I delivered the nurse said "see you back around this time next year".

  
  After 31 cycles and two losses, we've been blessed with a healthy baby girl!

  I keep on getting asked if we want to have an additional one to the twins. When we tell them that we're done, they have a lot of comments Ummm, unless you're going to be raising our children, you have no say!

  When I'm in a mood I tell em I'm knock up again right now. You should see their faces!! Haaahaaa!!

  TTC 10/2010 DX with PCOS 01/2012 Metformin 05/12. Clomid 07/12 50mg- Bust,no response. 8/12 100mg 0 on CD20=BFP. 9/24-56 9/26-125 10/1-2100 B/G Twins, EDD 05/2013 "It's funny they give you a drug to help get you pregnant, but it makes me not want to have sex with you" -DH.
