  For my friends bachelorette, we started out at this karaoke place.  The cool thing was that we had our own little room so the only people there were all apart of the party.  I think I sang one song with a few other girls and that was more than enough for me.  Doing karaoke is totally out of my comfort zone!

  Once in Paris (idk) and then once again after finishing day 2 of the bar exam.  It's definitely not my thing, but the first time I was young and the second I was basically mentally exhausted so I didn't care about being embarrassed.

  I used to with my sister every weekend at this dive local bar in our town.  she's good, I'm not.  But I will say we knocked "Travelin' Soldier" by the Dixie Chicks out of the park everytime!

  I have done it a few times. Usually in a group with others. I have a group of really talented friends who are amazing singers, so I sing backup for them. FWIW, I was a music major in college, I can sing, but not all that well. I prefer playing an instrument.

  In NYC they have those places with the private rooms.  SILs and I used to go after happy hour (5 hours) and make fools of ourselves but have a blast because it was only us.  I haven't gone since my birthday about 4 years ago though. 
  
  ETA: I am incredibly tone deaf and would only sing in front of people I am very comfortable with.  It's embarrassing how bad my singing voice is.

  I've never done it, but I think if I had enough to drink I could possibly be convinced. One time H and one of our friends took me and my BFF to a bar with karaoke and tried to get us to sing....it was our first stop of the night. The two of us were like, umm, I think you need to give us a decent bit of alcohol before there's a chance.
