in Getting Pregnant
Thanksgiving this weekend for me and my Canadian homies. Clearly poutine is the main course, but I'm needing suggestions for sides. We're doing potatoes, stuffing, and cran sauce, but can you ladies tell me your go-to veggie dishes? DH and I are hosting 10 peeps and this is our first turkey so wish us luck!

    Good luck! I've only done the turkey once. We usually celebrate both US and Canadian thanksgiving, but I have no idea what we are doing this year.

    I forgot to mention my mom is vehemently opposed to green beans, so those are a no go. I think Brussels sprouts and carrots are good options though. Especially if I add bacon to the sprouts...mmm bacon. I love asparagus but its not in season so it won't be very good. Thanks ladies!

    Good luck and have fun hosting!  We have almost everything PPs mentioned (there are usually 18-25 of us!), plus my mom always makes corn pudding.  It's more of a side than a dessert, but it's SO delicious!!!

    Haha, no poutine is not a traditional thanksgiving main. We do turkey, I was just joshin' y'all :) It is traditional to eat it every other day of the year.
