FB strikes again (pr-not me)

So the dreaded FB blindside strikes again. SIL is pregnant with baby #2. She's due in June 2014.

I'm actually not as upset as I thought I would be. I was pretty much expecting a blindside announcement to come from someone soon. DH is the one that's more upset and angry. The weird thing is that she unfriended DH last week because of something that was going on in the family and then all of the sudden yesterday she added him back. I guess she just couldn't wait to wave her pregnancy in our faces.

Fuck. That is all. Posting and running because I've got to go to work but I'll try to check back from my phone.

I know. I bet the pee stick isn't even dry! I am not friends with her but DH was and that's how we found out. She knows what we are dealing with too. So much for not being upset. I am now ugly crying in my classroom. I need wine

I totally agree with this. And not to mention...how crappy is it that you had to find out on FB?! This is your future niece or nephew and she didn't have the decency to CALL.

Her other cousin recently had a miscarriage too (a few months ago). I feel bad for her too because she is going to log on and see it too. I just talked to DH's aunt via Facebook and she even said, "she is heartless." You call it heartless, I call it being a bitch!

Wow. Bitch is right. How does she not even tell family before posting it on fb? I got upset that BIL and SIL mailed us an announcement when they mailed it to all their friends. Announcing it in fb without telling you first is just cruel, especially since they know your struggles.

Her cousin announced way early on Facebook too and then ended up miscarrying. You think she would have learned from that situation. Thanks for the words of encouragement ladies. Now if I get pregnant in the next few months using clomid I will get to share the pregnancy spotlight with her. Oh joy!!

I have to agree with @teacherlady79 "bitch" isnt' a strong enough word. Why you would post that early and why you would basically let fb tell everyone is BEYOND me.

Ugh. Way to friggin early for a FB post. If I were your DH I would de-friend her now because clearly she is going to AW her whole pregnancy and that would hurt too much for me.

I'm sorry....she sounds like a real peach. I still can't believe that people post on FB so early. Of course I don't wish loss on anyone and I don't wish for people to live in fear, but it shows so much ignorance and naivete on their part.

DH mentioned unfriending her so we will do that later. I know she has a right to be excited and to post PR things on Facebook but I just wish she would have been a little more sympathetic. Guess that's the way it goes though...people just don't understand.

@Aimothy, she unfriended him a few weeks ago after some drama went down in their family. I now know for a fact after stewing over it all day that she specifically friended him yesterday so that she could rub her baby announcement in our faces. If DH known that, he would have never accepted the request. She is now blocked and deleted.

Sounds exactly as you've always described her. BIOTCH. totally uncalled for. She obviously did it on purpose. Yes of course she can be happy, but I think a phone call to family before announcing on fucking facebook would be the decent thing to do. Ass. I'm very very sorry, those feelings are still very fresh for me too :-(
