How long did you have to wait for your ring and how long was your engagement?

I waited about a year and a half from when we met and, because we were long distance, only 7 months from when we met in person. We were engaged for about a year and a half.

We dated almost 4 years before we got engaged, and we were engaged for almost exactly 1 year before getting married (got engaged Memorial weekend, wedding was May 19).

We were together a year and a half before we got engaged. We knew almost a year into it we wantedto get married and were already ring shopping. Once we got engaged it was about another year and a half before we got married.

We dated for about 2 and a half years before the ring came. I was ready within a year, but he wasn't quite. Back then, I would have said he was taking too long. Now,he will tell you that he wishes he hadn't waited so long, and I look back to think 2.5 years really isn't so long. It just felt that way, I guess.

Our engagement was just shy of a year, (Memorial Day- May 5).

All of that adds up to us meeting for the first time 5 years ago on Halloween.

We had been together for 2 years 9 months when we got engaged. We were engaged for a year and 8 months. So we were together for just under 4.5 years when we got married.
