Facebook rant - it's not me; it's you
I have two pg "friends" on Facebook that are driving me nuts. Maybe it's because I'm hormonal and irritated or maybe it's all the dumb.
I don't want to comment unnecessary evil on their status updates but I need to vent.
One of them posted yesterday that she was taking the 3 hour glucose test because she failed her 1 hour. Someone commented, "I bet you will pass! You don't look like you have GD!" Look like it? I didnt realize there was a face for it. She replied, "I know! I eat whatever I want but haven't gained much weight so I can't have it!" I suppose these two women would have a heart attack if they knew my 120 lb co-worker has diabetes.
PSA: GD only happens when you gain gobs of weight apparently.
The second girl had a premature baby a few years ago, around 34 weeks I think. Baby is a healthy toddler now which is great. She is pregnant again and the second she passed the mark that she'd given birth the first time she started posting about how baby needed to come anytime now because her first baby came earlier than that and turned out fine so why wait any longer?
She's been posting for weeks about begging her doctors to induce her early because she is "over being pregnant." They said no because there is no medical need. Today she posted that she HAS to deliver this weekend at the latest because they are moving out of state soon and going to 40 weeks will make it more difficult.
Just.

It is super annoying. Yesterday she posted about "what was ok in cribs?" And wanted to know about stuffed animals (not kidding).
She is always posting about how she doesn't feel well and she can't sleep. And she isn't even in 3rd tri!
I try to resist giving her advice because I don't think it would help.

There are enough babies fighting after being born too soon and enough parents worrying about their preemies health and well being. Not to mention all of the parents hoping their babies stay in as long as possible (we are/were one of those sets).
Why would you hope or ask for that?
