Update on me
So an update from me for those of you who are on FB.
I had really bad cramping all weekend, finally called the maternity clinic yesterday and they told me to go to the ER since my OB wasn't in and they didn't think they could get me in soon enough if something is wrong. So I went to the ER. Sat in the ER for 5 hours to be told they don't know what is wrong (after doing samples and bloodtests) and to take it easy. They did do an U/S and baby was fine....its just momma with unexplained pain.
The OB called me today and wanted me to come in for some bloodwork results. Apparently the bloodwork showed an STD, which makes no sense because it didn't show up in my earlier bloodwork and we have been on no-sex orders for a month because of an unexplained STI earlier that was treated (and my hubby tested negative for that one, so how the hell does that work?)....so he thinks my body is producing false positives for some reason. Glad to know its probably a false positive, but kind of disturbing...he ordered different tests to see if they find contradictory findings.
Anyways I told him about the pain and going to the ER and he right away said, well its probably a Corpus Luteum Cyst...apparently they are pretty common as there is an influx of hormones in early pregnancy and when the placenta starts to take over around 12-14 weeks that the cyst starts to shrivel up as its no longing being sustained by hormones in the ovaries and can cause a lot of pain. It would have been nice to see a OB yesterday instead of waiting 5 hours get no answers and then get a quite probably answer in 5 minutes form the OB the next day. The only plus side I got a extra US yesterday and get another one next week....so get to see baby again! Still in a lot of pain but its nice to know its likely to go away in the next few days/weeks and what to get them to look for if it doesn't.

Still in pain, and pretty much was told to "wait it out" that it will go away on its own....It's a lot less now though, then it was earlier in the week, so I am hoping that means it is going away!
