Do you think LO's can sense when their mom is pg again?
So I just had this very random conversation in the bathroom with one of our co-irkers. She sometimes is a little out there but it kind of got me wondering what you think. She asked me if DS has been extra cranky or clingy. And as a matter of fact he has as well as sleeping horribly at night. She said that they believe, (she's Hispanic) that babies can sense when their mama is pg and there is going to be competition so they fight for mama's attention.
So, I was like, well I think it's just sleep regression and the age of temper tantrums and she responds with, well, I think he just knows you're pregnant.
Not sure if I should eye roll this or if it's possible that they really can sense this. I don't talk to him about it because one, I feel it's too early. And two, he's too young to understand any of it anyway..
Maybe this is a good Thursday debate? lol

I don't know if I believe that the kids know their mom is pregnant or if they just sense some sort of change is coming. I think that when pregnant a person subconsciously or even on purpose change a lot of things about their life. These things may not seem big but may be enough for a child to tell something is different.
I am very interested to see what others have to say.

My niece will touch my stomach and say hi to it. We told her that she has a cousin in there, but she's 2 so I'm not so sure she understands what that means.
