  My vent is that my allergies have been bothering me so much the past few weeks, I just want to remove my eyeballs and start scratching them to get some relief.  It's driving me out of my mind, and I look like a hot mess.

  I'm excited Steve's mom is arriving tonight for a week-long visit. We haven't seen her in 5 months because she spent most of the summer in Italy with his sister, and then came home and moved to a smaller apartment in her building.
  
  It's much more affordable for her, but I'm going to miss her 38th floor corner with views of the river, downtown NYC and the statue of liberty when we go to visit.

  My baby boy turns 4 this weekend!  I can't believe it!  

  
  

  Know what I heard last night while I was sleeping?   The beautiful sound of a flushing toilet.  Yes, folks, DH installed the toilet in our bathroom last night!   Two working toilets is like a dream come true!  (the sink is in as well.  He's still tiling the shower, but at least we won't have kids fighting over who has to use the toilet more!)

  Casey's movie wrapped last night. Woohoo! Now we can just bite our nails in anticipation of another production coming. Fingers crossed he doesn't have too much down time - but just enough for me to regain my sanity.

  
  

  We have our family pictures scheduled for tomorrow. I bought a few different sweaters. I still have no idea what to wear. I may drag G and Casey to Kohl's with me after work this evening. Casey has no idea (and no clothes) what to wear either. Maybe I'll make a post if I can find some facsimiles of what I plan/want to wear. 

  
  

  I saw Nine Inch Nails on Tuesday and I'm still sore from dancing/standing. I'm an old.

  I only worked two days this week and I have decided I want to be a SAHW so we need to win the lottery.

  
  

  I feel bad saying it, but I really wanted to kill my aunt this week. OMG, she seriously would not leave my poor grandma out of her sight. I feel bad for my grandma. My aunt even threw my grandfather's ashes in the river before my grandma got there. Seriously!

  
  

  On a more exciting note, my grandma has decided that she wants to live in Pittsburgh half of the year. This makes me so happy! My grandparents moved to CA 30 years ago and they always visited us at least once a year but when I was little we spent a ton of time at their house and I missed them. Since my grandfather passed away, my grandma has decided she really wants to come back. I am super happy for my mom.

  
  

  There is lots of exciting things going on in our family. My sister is pg and my brother is proposing to his girlfriend this weekend. So excited for both of them!

  
  

  Emmy- totally feel you on the allergies. Have you tried Alaway eye drops? They are a godsend.

  They are! They are Bausch & Lomb. They are amazing. They have them at Target, Wal-Mart, Rite Aid.

  I haven't tried those but if they don't work I would suggest talking to your dr. I use pataday which is a prescription allergy eyedrop. I would not be able to survive ragweed season without it!!

  Alaway eye drops emmy.  the little bottle is a bit pricey, but they are awesome for allergy eye itch. But I feel your pain. I am on zyrtec daily, and flonase too. then use the alaway as needed. I am ready for one good hard frost to kill all those blasted weeds! 
  I also like pink, but tell Eleni my favorite color is yellow. But in decorating I am digging blues and greens and greys with brown.
  
  I am also planning my powder room remodel and feel both super excited and overwhelmed by choices. And sad I can't use pinterest while at work. Cause that would help.

  Exciting news, Kris!  Which sis is pregnant?
  
  I have really nothing other than I am tired and irritable. My half marathon is next weekend and I am freaking the F out.  I am hoping I can relax this weekend!  We are heading to Ligonier Days, so that should be a good distraction.
  
  Monday is a holiday, but it will be an early morning because Garrett is getting tubes.  Hopefully we can still have a fun day at home!
  
  My favorite changes, depending on what it's for (room paint, clothes, etc.), but overall, my favorite color is purple.

  I hate that I need to find new foundation because Revlon is stupid and reformulated their super popular foundation (lots of people hate the new formula so I don't get why you would fix what isn't broken!)
  
  I have issues with foundation lasting so I have to really try it out all day. Which means I feel like i look like a freak when it turns out the foundation is crap. And it's an annoying process!!
  
  My fav color is dark purple... I'm wearing it right now!

  Thanks!  I am really hoping they help with his speech...and would it be too much to hope they help with his listening skills as well?  He escaped from the Dr.'s office twice yesterday.  If my life had a title right now, it would be "Chasing Garrett".

  Meghan-Good luck on Monday! And Erin is pregnant. So next year will be full of excitement: A baby, a wedding, a family trip for my parents' 40th anniversary/my mom's 60th birthday (she is such a nice lady for taking us all away for her birthday/anniversary!)

  I'm going to add my first world problem here.  I wanted soup for lunch.  I walked across the street to order it.  First of all, I stood there while tons of people behind me were given their food - sandwiches that had to be toasted/assembled.  All I wanted was a bowl of soup.  So I asked for it.  And now my chicken "noodle" soup doesn't have ONE freakin' noodle in it.   WAH!   All I wanted was chicken noodle soup.  I guess it will be good for my diet.

  I have spent way too much time today on freecycle today. I forgot about it until my sister reminded me about it this morning. 

  My favorite color is purple but I don't have anything purple in my decorating for some reason.
