I like watching the Suze Orman Show, are there other MM you watch or would suggest checking out?
Re: MM TV shows?
I tried watching her show. But she just annoys the crap out of me.
Sorry doesn't answer your question. I don't know if there are any other shows like hers, but I am curious to find out.
I just came to the realization that medical deductibles along with other deductibles don't belong with the emergency fund since they are two different animals.
We are tracking our health care costs this year to better plan for next year. Our LO has had a lot of ear infections and other reasons to go to the doctor and both MW and I have had unexpected medical issues that should be just this year only.
Talking to others at work, as children get older and get more involved in sports the medical deductibles become more of an annual expense then an emergency that need to be brought fully into the budget.
The emergency fund should be more used for unexpected things like emergency car repairs, being laid off, or the roof leaks suddenly. Even Dave Ramsey says that if you know that you need auto repairs in the near future you are suppose to save up for it an pay cash. Same goes with regular housing repairs.
