We are lucky if we get it in once a week. To be fair though H works 3rds so most nights he's at work. With two little boys there isn't time to sneak something in during the day.

Ok, you are all right. I forget that I rarely post anymore and I'm always on mobile so my signature is lacking, which I know is how most of you recognize people anyway. I used to post a lot more but this year has been kicking my butt.

Maybe a better question for what I wanted to know was, "How has your sex life changed over your married years?" I feel like ours is non-existent lately but we do have a 1 year old now. You guys are usually open to talking about anything so I'm sorry if I crossed a line and posted to the wrong crowd. Also, I'm aware that I'm a stranger in this world. I always have the best intentions of posting more but I can't seem to catch up with my life right now.

Honestly, I feel like there is an ebb and flow to sex in a marriage. We have been dealing with infertility for almost 3 years, so it has taken a toll in some ways. Some weeks we have sex a lot, others a few times a week, sometimes once in 3 weeks, a few times it's been once in a month or 2. As long as we prioritize spending time together to connect in some way sex isn't the end-all-be-all for us. We feel like we have our whole lives to have sex, so it won't kill us to get more sleep one day and skip the sex.

It's tough sometimes, because society puts these "rules" on people. Rules that say that if you aren't banging like bunnies every other day there is something wrong in your marriage, or one of you will be unfaithful. It's all bullshit. Everyone's sex drive is different. Some of us are less sexual when under stress, and some crave sex when stressed. You can't compare what is normal for you against what is normal for someone else. Do you feel unhappy with the current sex situation at home? I think that's a more telling question than polling strangers on their bedroom habits. There is no normal, only YOUR normal.

I won't go into detail here, but it has varied from almost daily, to weekly, sometimes when sick/morning sickness, once every couple of weeks. Every year proves some differences, after 8.5, there are years where it is more than the previous years. It all depends.
