There are 79 days until the end of the year. What do you want to have accomplished by then?
I'd love to hear both of your personal and financial goals.

Re: Year End Goals
I'll start.
Personal:
1) Lose 5 lbs by the end of the year which includes me working out at least 3x a week and cooking healthy meals.
2) Read 8 more books to reach my goal of 25 books read for the year.
3) I want to actually go to the book club that I signed up for instead of blowing it off every month.
4) Finish up small house projects.
Financial:
1) Continue to pay all debt off by the end of this year (minus mortgage). Still on track!
2) Fully fund the emergency fund.
3) Stay on track for Christmas budget on gifts.
-Pay off at least one more personal loan(on track)
-Continue my clothing embargo(have not bought ANY new clothes this year, but I'm starting to get twitchy)
-Keep up going to the gym 3x a week
-Have a frugal Christmas and NOT go Black Friday Shopping
*continue to workout 4x week. meal prep sundays and wednesdays (squat 185lbs and deadlift 200lbs)
*lose 5lbs by year end
financial:
*keep budgeting and STICKING to the budget
*we were really hoping to pay off my student loan (last debt) by the end of the year, but we decided to put that on hold for now so we can save save save for a house. we only have about $5k left in my student loan and considering that $5k could help w/ closing costs and such, we thought holding off a few months would be a better idea.
*save another $5k by year end
TTC Countdown to 8/2015
Personal:
- read 11 more books to meet my goodreads goal of 60 this year. I'm at 49 right now, 2 books ahead.
- Lose 10 lbs to get back into the 100s where I started 2013. With that I want to hit the gym 4 times a week and restarted C25K and stay away from holiday sweets.
Financial:
- Stay on schedule for paying off our last CC, and roll that into my last student loan.
- Stay in our limits for Christmas.
- continue on my weight watchers journey and be down hopefully around 10 lbs.
- get to church more!
financial:
- not go crazy on Christmas shopping...
financial:
Pay off most of our consumer debt by the end of the year (2 paid so far, 4 will be paid by the end of this month, 1 paid off next month, and 1 paid off by December) leaving us with 1 cc to be paid off by February
stay on our budget for Christmas
personal:
get H back on the budget track, we have been slightly veering off this road the last few weeks.
get going on building my side business. I've been slacking. I hope to have a reasonable inventory by Thanksgiving.
Financial: Get back on track to building our savings for a Toyota Sienna minivan (used). We have to save at least $1,400 per month to buy one next autumn and pay cash for it. We had a baby in July, so we've had some medical bills. And, I was in a car accident in September so we had to pay a higher deductible there. We have fallen behind of our monthly van goals.
Personal: Make our new DS's Christmas stocking.
Catch up on scrapbooking for each of the 3 kids. I am 8 months behind on DD's. 4 months behind on new DS's. And a year behind on other DS's. I have all the photos uploaded to my PC and most are already on Shutterfly. Lots I have printed...I just need to find time to sit and do the pages.
Sign up at a gym and get back to a healthy weight. I didn't try to lose weight between babies because I knew I'd gain it all back. I'd like to drop 30 lbs to be at a better place health-wise and emotionally. I am dreading this - exercise has never been part of my regular routine because I was naturally thin and never needed to work at it (I wish I had though). I was thin and healthy pre babies and my bod totally changed. No more size 4 for me. But I'd at least like to be in my size 8 pants I have stored away...this circles back to financial stuff. I don't want to buy new clothing.
At least maintain current weight and tone.
Workout at least 5 days/week for at least 30 minutes.
Get to where our budget is correct/fully working. :-)
Get hubby on board to be more active and also do more social activities/fun things together next year.

Finally get a will
Get to where 5 miles is a comfortable (if not enjoyable) weekend run
Make Christmas gifts for close family
Financial:
Create and stick to a Christmas shopping budget
Make decisions about how to invest $$ that is not eligible for tax advantaged retirement accounts
Personal:
-Get my Tastefully Simple schedule back to a comfortable amount.
-Eat healthier and do more clean eating.
- Get our spare bedroom cleaned out and both of our offices organized so we can start the remodel at the beginning of the year.
Financial:
- Not have to borrow from ourselves between now and the end of the year (we have a lot of large expenses coming up).
- Spend only $200 on Christmas gifts.
- Get our budget completed, and stick to it (we re-evaluate every 3 months, and this summer wasn't good).
- Earn $200/month consistently in bonuses at work, and earn extra fall bonus.

Financial: Save up enough money to be able to buy a new van, decide whether to buy a rental home or invest the money, and hopefully afford some home renovations (new flooring, and possibly a new sofa set or new bedroom set)
Financial: To pay off medical bills and replenish our savings accounts. We should have enough in savings for Christmas especially if we keep our gifts in the $20 range.
Personal: Better handle my work stress, and start running regularly again.
Financial: Pay off another SL (this month, hopefully!), and make headway on the next SL. I am so excited to start next year at a better financial point than I started this year.
