H really liked both of the recipes I tried this week. I was a big fan of the Swedish meatballs, though I will definitely make more gravy next time. Fortunately that should be super easy to do. Unfortunately I wasn't that excited about the slow cooker chicken cordon bleu. It sort of just tasted like chicken and stuffing to me. And it got really soupy. I would prefer something with more of a crunchy exterior.
I have to say I'm feeling rather pleased with myself for embarking on these culinary adventures on school nights!

Speaking of guys ruining stuff, H strongly dislikes beans...meaning I can't try any of the awesome chili recipes that float around this time of year. Boo!
