Re: CPW - Music Genre

  • I usually listen to Christian music. I really listen to a wide variety of music though when I am not in the mood to listen to Christian music.

  • I listen mostly to Country music.  I also listen to Classic Rock and a little bit of Pop and Hip Hop.  But overall Country hands down!  :)  Country shows are the absolute BEST!!!!  Love how everyone is just there to have a good time!

  • Country music has the sexiest men, so I'm all up in that mix, lol. (With the exception of Adam Levine... holy moly, he is a man among men, lol)

  • 80's/90's hair metal all the way! And the amazing thing is most of them can still sing the way they used to (yes, I still go to Cinderella/Kixx/Warrant/Trixter/Winger/etc. shows lol)! But I do listen to a little bit of everything... Jason Mraz, Dave Matthews, Jimmy Buffett, Country, and some top 40. Oh, and show tunes.  I love show tunes lol.

  • @pandPMeant2B, Ha ha I too LOVE that!  Shows are super fun and oh, these shows also make me feel really young!  :)  Good times!

  • I love county music, but by far the best shows to go to are jam bands. I love going to Phish shows more than doing anything else, like ever! The people, the music, the lights. No one has a care in the world and everyone just has a great time.

That's cuz they're all high lol. JK I really enjoy shows like that, but I have to be in the mood. Most of the time, if I'm going to see a band I like, I want to be able to sing along. You expect a lot of jamming with bands like Phish, so that's cool.  But I do get annoyed when DMB goes on for an hour like that... just play your actual songs because that's what people came to hear!

Ditto. My radio pretty much stays on one of the 3 local Christian stations or I listen to my iTunes stuff. I switch to 40s on 4 on Sirius from time to time and I occasionally switch to a rock station or talk radio.

In Christ alone my hope is found. He is my LIGHT, my STRENGTH, and my SONG!

  • I seriously listen to anything and everything except for Christian music.  I like rock, classic rock, country, hip hop, pop, punk, dance music, 80s, etc etc etc

Thats the truth! Yeah Phish goes on like that occasionally. They always jam out, but now that they are older and sober'er (I guess is the word) they dont normally go futher than 15 minutes or so. I use that time to use the bathroom LOL!

I would have loved to go to a Phish concert back in the day when I wasn't so old and sober.  lol.  Now that I'm older and sober'er, I wouldn't be able to stand it.
