magazines for 5-6 year old?

Last Christmas, I bought subscriptions to Disney Jr. magazine for Jake & my BFF's son who is around the same age.  They both loved them, but have started to outgrow the activities and games.  Any other suggestions for magazines for that age group?  I'd love to get them something again this year.

Highlights, which is 6-12? It was always my favorite. They also have High Five, which is 2-6.

  • DH's grandma gets Madi Highlights and just in last 6 months has she really gotten into them. She likes the crafts and recipes and the reoccuring stories about Tex and Indy.
  • EJ gets Highlights High Five still. And I think it is still age appropriate. We also like Rick Jr, which is a younger version of Ranger Rick. Not such a fan of the National Geographic mags.

Adam gets high Five he loves it and can't wait to read it- something he usually does with his dad. Their Favorite part is the "Silly things" picture that Adam calls "whats up with that" its the first thing he turns to!
