So if I like Rainbow Rowell, what else should I read?

Previously, my YA reading has been limited to whatever everyone else has been reading, but several months later (that is how I read HP, HG, and Twilight), Sarah Dessen, and a couple of Courtney Summers's books. But I bought E&P and Fangirl when the NookBooks were super cheap on B&N, and I can't stop thinking about how much I LOVE them. I am almost done with Fangirl now, and I just super love it so much that I want to read a million more books exactly like it.

So what say you, YA readers? Where should I go after this?

  • now I want to read Rainbow Rowell's books.  I think I'm on the wait list for both at the library.

Hopefully somebody will give you some great answers... otherwise I just finished Where the Stars Still Shine by Trish Doller, and I loved it.

  • She also wrote Attachments, which is adult fiction. It was really good, too!

  • I can't help. Just wanted to add my love for RR. I read E&P and Fangirl last week and adored them. I can't stop thinking about them.
  • Oh, I have read a couple John Green! And I have a couple more that I own! Good point!

  • Thanks for posting this.  I loved Fangirl so much and loved E+P too.  I'm definitely going to pick up Attachments!  I had no idea she wrote adult fiction as well.

  • I second the David Levithan.  Pick up Dash and Lily's Book of Dares by David Levithan & Rachel Cohn.  It has the two narrators, is YA, and good.

  • All of these are great, I don't remember what I was going to add.

The Sky is Everywhere by Jandy Nelson is also really good! One of my faves!
