TGIF!!!

So excited it is Friday. Mostly because work has sucked this week. WOHOOO FRIDAY!!! I put some pictures up on facebook of the landscaping. Not many because they rip up alot of the yard and it is a big mud hole till the grass grows.

Re: TGIF!!!

  • Hello.
I'm so pissed right now. Our Windstream bill was $30 higher this month for some freaking reason. I called them to talk to them about it and they wouldn't fucking tell me anything because I'm not "authorized" on the account. Even though I'm the one who pays the damn bill each month, and the freaking online account is in MY name!!! I am so fucking pissed. I never get mad at customer service reps, but I was mad at this lady. I swore at her. But I'm not fucking paying them $30 extra dollars when we have a price lock deal that we got when we signed up, which is the only reason we chose them, because our bill will never change. ARGHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In good news, I got the job with Aramark at the hospital! yay! Doing housekeeping. I ideally wanted patient transport, but I'm just glad to get a position. Plus maybe I can eventually switch to transport.

Degrea - Saw your landscaping! It looks nice!

  • Is Windstream the cable company? I hate the cable company!! Wohoo new job! I know you were hating the Dollar Store job. Thanks, we were really happy with the way it turned out.

  • Uhm, I don't know if they have cable or not. We have Internet through them. And a phone line, which we had to get to get our internet. Seriously $30 more than last month!!!! I don't understand! I even read through the bill, and we got charged an extra $10 for something that I don't know what it is, and we lost a $13 credit that we had. I want to know where these things came from! I'm just so mad, because my name is on the account and the girl was like "ya, but it's not". Uhm, yes, it is. The bill comes to Jason and Jessica you twit.
Yes, the Dollar General job sucks balls. I hate retail, and I swore I'd never go back to it but I had to. I am very thankfully that God provided that job for me while I needed it, and I'm even more thankful now to be moving on to something else.

  • I have to write an 8-10 page paper that's due Monday and I have zero ambition in which to do it. It's for my computer class, and it has all these weird requirements to prove that we know how to use Microsoft Word, so it's not like a normal research paper. It has to have so many pictures, a footnote, captions, a table of contents made using the headings/subheadings, a works cited page using source manager, a smart art chart. It's so silly.
I'd rather be studying for A&P. I have a quiz on bones on Monday.
I was singing the bone song yesterday, but using the technical names.
Like the instead of "the arm bones connected to the shoulder bone" I was singing the radius connects to the ulna, the ulna connects to the humerus, the humerus connects to the scaupla.
hahaha! My husband thought I was a freak.

  • My mother who is a nurse sing the bone song that way all the time. She is a little nuts, so your H might be on to something there. HAHA! As far as the paper goes I would necessarily write anything I would step up the document the way it has to be typing gibberish since it sounds like that is more important than the content and won't take any real brain power. You know what I mean. Good Luck either way!

  • Oh my gosh these kids are super awesome today..:not! For a short week it's been a long one. My sick kids aren't napping which is crappy because the other one is....I want 10 minutes of quiet time!! I'll settle for 5 if I have to.
  • That's pretty much what I'm doing, Degrea. I'm just including the bare minimum of real information and making sure all the set up and stuff is correct.

Echo - Sorry you're not having a good day! Hopefully by next week all your kids will be better!

  • I broke my radius three times (once completely in half) and my ulna once.

I know VERY well where those bones are :-)

Good luck on your paper, jlq!

  • Thanks, Joy!!

Was all this breaking on the same arm?

I broke my arm when I was in preschool and I asked my mom which bone it was and she doesn't know. I just want to know if it was ulna or radius! Come on, mom! haha!

Oh yes.  My left arm is significantly weaker than my right and I have all this scar tissue over the old break.  You can feel it if you run your finger down my radius.

I broke it three times in two years.  The orthopedic told me that if I broke it again, I'd need pins in my arm.  I didn't do anything fun for a year because I was so scared.
