  I had so many. My aunt is amazing at sewing so to save my mom money she would usually make mine. I went as Belle from Beauty and the Beast when I was like 5 or 6 and my aunt made the dress which turned out amazing! Also while I don't remember it when I was like 2 I went as Little Mermaid and up until like 2 years ago we still had the outfit which was so elaborate. Those were my favorite once I got older it just wasn't the same.

  I loved and still love halloween! I think one of my best was a raggedy ann...my mom never bought a costume we always made it...still do!

  I was a dalmation one year. It's probably the only costume my Mom ever made for me (she's not very crafty). It was basically white sweat pants & shirt with black felt patches glued to it. She was so proud! and I was, of course, adorable!

  When I was younger, my mom always made our costumes. We didn't have a ton of money but we always had great costumes! My favorite was a really simple Minnie Mouse costume.
