What do you use for your money management and budgeting?
I currently use Quicken for money management, and I have an Excel spreadsheet I use for budgeting (not that I've stuck to it lately!) but I'm curious as to what y'all use? I've not been incredibly pleased with Quicken, but can't seem to find anything I like better.
Oh, we also have Mint, but I'm not completely sold on it... There are some parts that I like (the fact that it's online and easy access to all my accts) but I'm not a huge fan of their budgeting tool.
So, what do you use? Or am I just WAY too picky and should just use what I have and chill out a little bit? ![]()

Re: Budgeting/money management software?
We have been very good at putting our savings away and not touching it until we started our renovations. We also are not crazy shoppers so our misc expenses aren't very high ever.
The spreadsheet was really helpful for us because it was a simple way of showing what we have and what we can spend from that.

@flamingo86 I've heard of that one, but have never used it. Happy to hear someone likes it. I'm just hesitant to spend money on a system.
Currently we use spreadsheets. I just downloaded free ones from Excel, and have been using those. We have one spreadsheet for monthly and one for yearly. Then I also have another one for my business, and another one for our extra income. I'm one of those anal people who also has all of our savings in one account, but then separated out into different categories on a spreadsheet. So our "budget" workbook has 7 different tabs, but it works for us.
H and I also sit down on the 15th of the month to discuss where we're at with the monthly budget so far, then again on the 1st to see where we came out from the previous month.
