Motivational Monday!

What are you going to get done this week?

How are you going to do it?

Re: Motivational Monday!

  • I want my dining room and living room to look the way I imagine it could look.  As in clean and not terribly cluttered.  I also want to de-clutter the kitchen table and counters so they are usable and we aren't using the dining room table for everything.
The plan too is to do our grocery trip this week via bike.  So I hope we can manage that.

To do all this, I guess I have to get to work going through things.  I need to throw some stuff away, get rid of things, and put things away in a better place.
And today we are supposed to be doing a test run trip to the store and back without grocery bags to see how hard it will be to do.  I think the hang up is going to be that I am getting sick.

  • I need to get a bunch of paperwork done and close some files. I should have time tomorrow or Thursday to do it so I'm going to work on it then. I'll just have to listen to music and drown out all the noise.

  • I have to get Halloween costumes together this week.  I am one mummy down and an Edward Scissorhands to go.  I also have to throw something together for myself.

  • I am still going strong on my challenge that I have been doing, and my goal is to continue with that. I plan to go to the gym four days, take two yoga classes, and continue to track my food via WW. I am seeing some results, which is great motivation.

In more sloth-like pursuits, I would like to clear off my TiVo. It's getting pretty full!

  • Oh I have to come up with and purchase the stuff for a Halloween costume for a party on Saturday. I have no idea how this will happen other than going out Saturday and shopping.

  • I need to find a way to motivate my husband to pick up his daughter from school this weekend so I don't have to (because I want to be able to go to my turbo kick class instead because I am purely selfish).

Maybe I can convince him through sex.

This is how I convince my husband to do most things.

  • I am going to get prepared for my exam which is on Friday night. I'll do it by studying/practicing at any moment I'm not at work or actively taking care of my kid.

I'm also going to get a stupid and painful project done at work because I'm sick of it hanging over my head. I'll do it by devoting afternoons to it.
    Baby Birthday Ticker Ticker
  • I need to get my butt in gear for Liam's 1st birthday party. It's less than three weeks away, I have 191 guests invited and I have accomplished maybe 20% of my to-do list.

  • Speaking of children's birthday parties, I need to get going on Archer's for next month too. I need to make a guest list, get the invites ready and mail them this week.

I also want to make some more progress on my outline and keep up the Alaska research for my new writing project.

I'll try to do the b-day party prep while the boys watch cartoons in the mornings and write during naps and at at the gym and if I have any free time after work.

  • Move across the province and un pack without killing mh or MIL.
  • I am really motivated to get my baby weight off. I have about 15lbs to lose. I joined WW yesterday, (I'm an old pro at WW) and I'm hoping to stick to the plan, and log lots of activity points this week. Hoping to run at least 4 days this week (1 down!) and I'm signed up to walk/run a 10K on Saturday.

Also, I really need to get my kiddos to a pumpkin patch! It seems like there is always something that keeps us from going! Hoping to make some time for that this week.

  • I have a million and one things that I need to do before we leave to Cali (then to Hawaii) tomorrow night!  I need to get my paperwork completed, buy a suitcase, get to AAA for a Maui map, figure out outfits and pack.  Of course, I'm nesting instead of working.  Must get things done...and I'm thinking of more things as we speak!

Cinnabun and Junebug say, "Go Wildcats!"

  • I want to go to yoga tomorrow night and not be scared/anxious before class.

I also want to flesh out a few more characters for this year's Nano.

How #1:  I'm not sure.  Wine?

How #2:  I need to figure out the characters' names first.  Once I do that, I can work other things out.

My H also falls for the damsel in distress routine. I think it makes him feel manly when he can "rescue" me.

    It's slippery as waterweed.
  • I have a couple of emails that should have been sent week ago hanging over my head so I hope to get that done.

Our fish could also use a clean fishtank

How? Just write the stupid emails and get over the fact that I don't like what I have to say in them (plus my fear of the ppl I'm sending them to)

Just make time for the fish...maybe tonight after I finish cleaning :)

There's an app called Maui revealed. I don't remember how much it cost but I thought it was well worth it. We always managed to forget out book when we went out for the day.

Just remember that your yoga practice is YOUR yoga practice, not anyone else's, and it matter only what you can do, not what everyone else can do.

Easier said than done, I know.

It's mostly fear of walking into a new place.  Stupid, I know.

This is like 3x the people who were invited to my wedding.

Also, I have not yet received my invitation.  :)

  • We're throwing our annual Halloween party on Saturday, and have a wedding to attend on Tuesday.  It seems like the more things I get done, the more things I think of that I need to do.

In other news, I've updated my sig several times and although the code is there, the picture never changes.

I'm having the same siggy issues! It's driving me crazy.
